the library grows

24 09 2006

I picked up four books yesterday at a garage sale and then was given a fifth for my birthday from my brother:

  1. World’s End by Upton Sinclair, 1940
  2. The Hearth and Eagle by Anya Seton, 1948
  3. Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier, written in 1938, but I got the Twentieth Century Classics edition
  4. Two years before the mast: And Twenty-four years after by R. H. Dana, Jr., 1959 Harvard Classics edition

The fifth book was Shake Hands With The Devil: The Failure of Humanity in Rwanda by Roméo Dallaire.

I think I need to find some time to read.
