toccata and fugue in D minor, BWV 565

17 09 2006

I spent the afternoon in a conversation about courtship and the color of milk. Let’s just say that one thing was decided: milk is white because that’s the color of milk and for no other reason. I don’t think I’m awake enough to really debate the merits of courtship over dating or vice versa.

This week is actually going to have some busyness. I’m going to have four homework assignment due, which is somewhat higher than the past few weeks.

The sun was nice today.  There’s one tree on campus that is turning to fall colors and starting to lose its leaves.  The tree is down by Crawford and it isn’t even the whole tree, just about 1/3 of it on the north side.  It’s turned to this fiery orange and it’s so pretty to see those leaves contrast against the green grass of the quad.  Fall is coming.  It’s time for football, Oktoberfest, and cider.
